Errol Mundle simply known as Errol M, is a highly respected DJ, radio presenter and record producer with an incredible 43 years of experience in broadcasting and music. His journey began in the early 1980s, coming out of the sound-system era, where he ran his own Lovers Rock sound system and developed a deep passion for reggae, soul and revival music.

In 1983, Errol secured his first radio position at Radio Trent in Nottingham, at a time when specialist music broadcasting was still in its early stages. His show became particularly significant for its focus on Soul, Reggae and Revival music, and was also broadcast across Radio Derby and Radio Leicester, giving Errol a much wider audience.

Errol’s broadcasting career continued to grow. He went on to work with Globe FM, a community radio station, before moving to London, where he became one of the original presenters on Choice FM, helping establish himself within the wider UK radio scene.

However, Nottingham remained home, and in 1989 Errol returned to the city, continuing his broadcasting career with Radio Leicester and BBC Radio Nottingham, where he spent several years. He later joined Kemet FM, another Nottingham-based community station, continuing his commitment to specialist music and local radio.

Alongside his broadcasting career, Errol developed into an accomplished record producer, working across a wide range of musical styles including Reggae, Gospel, Soul and R&B. Over the years, he has produced and released numerous projects and albums, combining his extensive musical knowledge with his passion for creating and revitalising music.

His work has particularly focused on Gospel Reggae and Praise & Worship, producing albums that bring together traditional gospel influences with reggae, soul and contemporary sounds. His recent projects include new Gospel Reggae and Praise & Worship albums, continuing a musical journey that has spanned more than four decades.

With 43 years in radio and music, Errol M has become a familiar and respected voice within Nottingham’s broadcasting community. His career represents decades of dedication to radio, DJing, music production and the promotion of reggae, soul, gospel and R&B.

Still active and still creating, Errol M continues to broadcast, produce music and develop new projects, demonstrating that his passion for radio and music remains as strong as ever.
